Panasonic Plasma Televisions – five things you need to consider before you buy
As I was going through the various television brands and models, I decided that it will be a good idea to ask a few people who are experts on the field of TVs, what they think about Panasonic Plasma Televisions, and what should someone look for when purchasing one of the latest available models. I can quickly summarize here five points that came from the discussion:
-Choose your resolution and size. Since you have narrowed it down to a Panasonic Flat Panel HDTV, then all you have to do is decide on the resolution and size that fits best to your taste; consequently, this will lead you to the available models and their prices.
-Most of the times, the price is one of the crucial factors in pinpointing the model of our choice; we usually draw a budget line that we do not want to cross over. In my case, my budget line was $2,500, which I thought as the highest amount I would spend for my new TV. So make your own budget line, and this will lead you to your model choices.
-Other important factors; what other features do you want your Panasonic Plasma Television to support? In my case, I wanted to have the ability to connect and browse the Web. Others look for the perfect game console connectivity and quality. Think carefully what you wish for, and see if it fits into your budget line.
-Will it be stand-alone television or make a home theater system? It is important to know, because if you buy it as part of a home theater structure then it may need to have extensive connectivity to support sub-woofers, multiple speakers and all the usual of a home theater.
This decision will also tackle the sound quality issue. If you choose a home theater model, then you don’t need to worry as much for the sound quality as if you were purchasing a stand-alone model. But if you go for a stand-alone model, then should you buy online, before you do so go to your nearest Panasonic Plasma television dealer and listen to the sound quality.
I finally focused my search on two areas:
This was a huge leap for me, comparing it with my just 20 inches Philips Flat line, but hey, with all this football in Europe going around, I just had to go for a sizeable screen with great quality. I just hoped they give a pop corn machine for free.
Darn. They didn’t.
